Kyoto is one of the best places in Japan for viewing Autumn leaves. On  our Photo Tour we will visit the best and most popular places, which includes many temples, shrines and gardens.

 

The Autumn leaves in Kyoto generally turn stunning red and orange colours in the last two weeks of November. Locations with limited sun or higher in the hills tend to change color earlier. The timing of the Autumn leaves varies from year to year depending of the weather in the prior weeks.

 

This photo tour is aimed to capture the incredible beauty of the Autumn Leaves in Kyoto.  Autumn Leaves festival is very popular and the rainbow of colours of the maple trees is something that everyone should see at least once in their life.  

 

Photo Tour of Kyoto Includes:

 

  • All accommodation - 5 days/ 4 nights

Information:

 

Meet and greet in Arashiyama - Kyoto, Japan on Monday

T-Travel Photography leaders will meet you in Arashyiama at 7am on Day 1.  After meet and great we will start taking first photos in the Arashyiama Bamboo Forest.

 

 

Experience/Difficulty:

 

  • Beginner, Amateur, Enthusiast, Semi-professional

  • Very Busy Schedule, be prepared to get up early in the morning

  • High amount of walking, (expect daily walks between temples and gardens)

  • Good fitness level required

  • No drivers license is required as we will be using public transport (subways, railways and buses) to get around both Kyoto and Arashiyama

 

 

Weather/Sunrise/Sunset:

The temperatures in Kyoto in November are quite pleasant.  Day temperatures are between 17-20C but nights can be much cooler.

Sunset - around 5.45pm
