Queens Garden Trail

Bryce Canyon has about 8 different day-hiking trails and many of them are interconnected.  The Queens Garden is one of the most popular trails in the park and it is often combined with the Navajo Loop.  Its starts at Sunrise Point and we advise doing the hike early in the morning.  Please remember that this is not a loop and the round trip is 2.9km long and takes 1-2 hours to complete.  This is the least difficult trail into the canyon with elevation of approximately 110m.

Queen Victoria Garden is one of the most beautiful places to see on this trail.

From this point onwards, you can either return to Sunrise Point where you started this hike or you can continue and connect the Navajo Loop Trial.  The Navajo loop is 2.2km long and takes about 1-2 hours to complete.  It starts at Sunset Point so keep in mind that if you continue from the Queens Garden Trail you will end up at Sunset Point and not Sunrise Point where you started.  The distance between the two is 1.6km along the rim.  It is an easy walk with beautiful views of the amphitheatre.

When you see the trees on the picture below, you will know that you are almost at the end of the trail.  Just one small thing, there is a steep walk up to the top of the rim.
