As mentioned before, we connected to the Circle Meadow Trail.  The walk around the meadow was very peaceful with tigerlillies growing around it.  There is also a Black Arch tree, one of many fire-sculpted trees, on this trail.  Then we joined the Congress Trail back to the Sherman Tree.

 

 

 

 

On the way back we also managed to spot few marmots, happily playing hide and seek with us :-).  It is well known that each spring and early summer, the marmots dine on rare delicacies.  In the parking areas some marmots feast on car radiator hoses and wires. They can actually disable a vehicle.
